This week we take a special look at The Secret Garden! This past week PFB was scheduled to perform this beautiful original ballet. However, due to the COVID-19 virus, we had to suspend our production. We tribute this moment to the amazing cast of Secret Garden 2020 and look forward to when we will unite artistically and gather on stage once again!

THE SLEEPING BEAUTY

As one of the pillars of classical ballet tradition, The Sleeping Beauty is the beloved story of a cursed princess, good and evil fairies, and the triumph of true loves kiss. It’s drama and spectacle is infused by Tchaikovsky’s empowering score. Premiering in St. Petersburg, Russia in 1890 this iconic ballet has stood the test of time along side of Tchaikovsky’s other two ballets, The Nutcracker and Swan Lake. This is a special ballet for Pacific Festival Ballet as it is the first full length ballet presented by the company over two decades ago. This magnificent production continues to inspires audiences and artists alike.

THE SEA PRINCESS

This week's performance photos and video feature another PFB original, The Sea Princess. This stunning ballet is an exciting collaboration between director/choreographer, Kim Maselli and composer, Eric Allaman. This love story transports you, through dance and music, to a Baroque castle on the shores of Portugal into the perils of the seas. The original score, recorded in St Petersburg, Russia takes you on a melodic adventure!
