Join us for Week Eleven as Pacific Festival Ballet, resident ballet company at the Bank of America Performing Arts Center in Thousand Oaks, takes a commemorative look at the beautiful full length ballets the company has presented for over 25 years!

This week we are thrilled to share the Magic of Mary Poppins! This endearing original ballet includes toe-tapping production numbers, whimsical dance sequences and Mary Poppins flying over Cherry Tree Lane! Our PFB premiere in 2005 was attended by none other than our beloved, Dick Van Dyke. Enjoy our dance version of this memorable story!

2020 NUTCRACKER SEASON WILL BE CANCELLED DUE TO COVID-19

Dear PFB Patrons and Friends,

It is with great disappointment that we announce our 2020 Nutcracker season at the Bank of America Performing Arts Center in Thousand Oaks will be cancelled due to the ongoing Covid crisis and the continued closure of the Civic Arts Plaza. 

Each December for 26 years Pacific Festival Ballet has celebrated the magic of the Nutcracker with you, our dance community, but this year we take a pause as we uphold health and safety as our collective priority.

While the curtain remains down on the Kavli stage, Pacific Festival Ballet is already sparkling with creativity as we think of new ways to celebrate our summer and holiday season with you.

As always, we are grateful for your ongoing support and we will emerge from these challenging times a stronger community. We look forward to sharing new ideas and platforms to celebrate ballet and the performing arts.

NOAH'S ARK

This week we celebrate a PFB original, Noah’s Ark! This theatrical dance experience premiered in 2010 and reprised by popular demand in 2012 and 2017. The breathtaking score composed by Eric Allaman was recorded in Moscow, Russia with the concept and choreographed by Artistic Director, Kim Maselli. This ancient saga comes to life through dance, aerial arts and video montages. The journey of Noah and his family sweep you away with the great Flood, animals gathering two by two, the shelter of the Ark and the first rainbow, promising hope for a new beginning.
